This recipe makes...well the amount that was in the photo.
It wasn't exactly bubbly like a mousse but it had a very nice chocolate pudding sort of taste and texture.
Ingredients
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1.5 scoops of chocolate whey protein (I used chocolate mint flavour)
- Pinch of salt
- Half a teaspoon of instant coffee
Method
- Mash the avocado into a smooth paste - lumps look really gruesome in the final product
- Whisk the whey protein with water into a thick paste, almost syrup-y in texture
- Add the coffee and the salt to the protein paste and mix
- Blend the avocado paste with the protein mixture
- If it is too thick, add a bit of water to thin it out
- Enjoy, guilt-free (relatively)!
